Our mission: honoring a legacy, building a future
Hoops 4 Hope Inc. was inspired by the legacy of Will Smith. Our main message is clear: to unite the community, empower youth development, and promote positive competition. We achieve this through our annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Ruth Moore Park and various community initiatives.
Beyond the court: our vision for youth and community
At Hoops 4 Hope Inc., we are committed to building a long-term impact that extends far beyond our annual tournament. Our vision includes developing programs and facilities that create consistent opportunities for youth growth, mentorship, and success.
Private Indoor Training Facility: We plan to establish a dedicated indoor basketball training facility that will serve as a year-round hub for skill development. This facility will offer paid individual and group training sessions operated through a partnered LLC branch, creating a sustainable revenue stream that directly supports our nonprofit mission.
Mentorship and scholarship: investing in tomorrow's leaders
Our mentorship initiatives will connect youth with positive role models, coaches, and community leaders. These programs will focus on life skills development, accountability and leadership, academic encouragement, and personal growth on and off the court.
We also aim to provide financial assistance to deserving student-athletes through scholarship opportunities, helping them achieve their academic and athletic dreams.
